Hand vegetable seeder SOR-1/1 (BBA96/6) |
MECHANIZATION EQUIPMENT | Hand vegetable seeder SOR-1/1 (BBA96/6) | Hand vegetable seeder SOR-1/1 (BBA96/6) used for dotted-line and hole sowing of vegetable crops and cucurbitaceous crops such as cucumber, tomato, beet, carrot, onion, radish, carrot, water-melon and melon. The seeder is simple to use and comfortable. Working with the seeder does not require any special training, but keep in mind that for sowing of every new kind of crop you will need to have definite skills. | | | | | Technical data for Hand vegetable seeder SOR-1/1 (BBA96/6) | | 10.2. Weight, kg | 10.5 | | Structure of the seeder and its work | | The vegetable seeder consists of the bearer frame (9), which looks like two parallel planks, where are fixed such thing as the support-driving wheel (8) (in the front); a brush sowing unit (3) with the bin for seeds (5), the ploughshare (10) and the covering knife (in the middle); a roll wheel (13) and the handles (1) in the back, which are fixed on the frame by means of pinned connection. There is a marker in the back of the frame. | | | | The sowing unit is a carcass, where are mounted the bin for seeds (5) with the rotary disc (2) (at the back part), a ploughshare (10) with a seed line, a brush mechanism (3) with a valve drive (11) of the ploughshare, and the covering knife. The sowing unit is taken by the drive from support-driving wheel by means of the chain transmission (6). During the moving of the seeder, the rotary brush (3) of the sowing unit takes the seeds and throws them into the seed line through the hole in the bin (5) and in the rotary disc (2). The seeds are accumulated in the valve (11) of the ploughshare, which is fixed at the double-arm interacting with the finger disc that is placed on the shaft on the left side of the sowing device. Intermittently (2 or 4 holes per 1 meter depending on settings of the finger disc), seeds are put into the furrow made by the ploughshare. The furrow is closed by the coving knife and rolled up by the rolling wheel. The marker, which is set by necessary spaces between rows, makes traces for the next pass of the ploughshare. To adjust the norm of sowing seeds, you need to fix them in the necessary spot of the rotary disc (in the back of the bin), depending on their kind and the agrotechnical recommendations; To adjust the number of nests per meter of a row (2 or 4), you need to move the finger disc of the valve drive to the right position. To adjust dotted-line sowing, fix the valve in the open position by means of prop. | | Tips! | | You can test the accuracy of the settings for the sowing norm by rolling the seeder over smooth surface with the ploughshare taken off. To define the depth of the ploughshare stroke, you need to prop up the rolling wheel onto a stand (on smooth horizontal surface) which is equal to the recommended depth of sowing seeds (minus 0,5 cm). Then hold the seeder in this position and turn off butterfly nut of the ploughshare fixing. Let the ploughshare down before it touches the and fix it by the nut. The width between rows should be set by moving and fixing of the marker on the bar. The exact accuracy of the seeder's adjustment can be checked by testing passes on the lot! | | The sowing norm for some vegetable crops | | Crop | Diameter of the hole in the sowing disc, mm | Sowing norm, thousand/ he (kg/he) | Weight of 1000 seeds, g | Cucumber | 7.8-9 | 35-40 | 23-25 | Water-melon | 9-12 | 9-10 | 40-45 | Melon | 7.8-9 | 9-12 | 32-37 | Tomatoes | 4.8-6 | 25-35 | 3-3.5 | Pepper | 4.8-6 | 40-60 | 7-8 | Aubergine | 4.8-6 | 40-50 | 4-5.5 | Onion | 3.8-4.8 | 600-1000 | 4.4-4.8 | Cabbage | 3-4 | 35-50 | 4-5 | Cauliflower | 3-4 | 40-55 | 4-4.5 | Beet | 9-10 | (15-20) | 14.5 | Radish | 4.8 | (25-40) | 8-15 | Carrot | 5.8-6.8 | (2-3) | 1.0-1.2 | Parsley for greenery | 2.2-3 | (7-8) | | Parsley for root crop | 2.2-3 | (2-3) | | Pea | 12-14 | (240) | | Haricot | 16-18 | (200-600) | | | | | | | Photo in the work | | | | Video | | | | |
